Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1998 Pedro Ximenez is a limited edition of Classic Malts. This distillery is located directly on the southern coast of the island of Islay between distilleries Laphroaig and Ardbeg. This inimitable trio, extreme, is regarded as the perfect embodiment of a typical style, incomparable Islay smoky and peaty. This version has more of a second refining: with its powerful temperament, dry and complex, with its marine notes features, it fits wonderfully with sweet accents of dried grapes from the sun emanating barrels Pedro-Ximenez. Indeed, after 16 years of cask aging den, he was transferred in special oak barrels which contained sherry Pedro Ximenez,. The result is a very complex and multifaceted whiskey that combines the typical features of Islay with the sweetness of the Spanish vineyard. Overall composition, sensational that impresses even the most demanding connoisseurs!
