Château Lagrange Pomerol 1995

A bottle of this red for two, solo.
Bright ruby red colour with reddish brown highlights. Balsamic and menthol aromas. Not the sweetest wine, but kind of.
I had it alone.

I tried it at the usual restaurant.
A beautiful vivid colour. Sensual aromas of chocolate. It improved with a little more coldness.

Of this Château Lagrange, 2012, the selection has been draconian, to face a difficult vintage. This hard work has paid off, to give a wine of exquisite. It has soft tannins for a nice balance. A...

A Lagrange Saint-Julien that was served as dessert of a good meal. I opened the bottle for my best friend.
I especially liked the colour. Good aromas of nuts. Powerful taste of wild berries.

As nearly all of them this one shows also a cherry colour. Toffee notes can be appreciated. I felt it alive and fresh.
A good red to finish the meal properly.
I drank it with my best friend.
