2016 Les Pagodes de Cos (Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: garnet purple.
  • Nose: Attractive nose, berries, fresh cream, toast spices. Notions of warm cassis, black cherries and smoked meat aromas of charcoal, underbrush and nails, plus a lot of new leather.
  • Mouth: silky smooth, ripe and full of energy, with a certain structure and the intensity of black fruit and spices entry.

APPELLATION: Saint-Estèphe.

VINEYARD: Vineyards located in the highest part of the property.

GRAPES: 46% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc 6% and 4% Petit Verdot.

AGEING: Aged carried out 30% new French oak barrels.

PAIRING: sausages, red meat, dishes with sauces, game and white meats.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
