    The Saint Estèphe are the most tannic wines of the Médoc. Dressed in red garnet, they are long closed mouth to better explode when mature. 2006 was a difficult vintage. It is a winemaker's vintage. The winter was cold and hard with snowfall. Spring was wet which allowed the mildew from spreading....
