The great Saint-Emilion produced in Château Soutard is famous for its powerful and tannic flavours when the wines are young. However this 1994 vintage is well past adolescence and time has softened its aggressivity, creating a polished, sophisticated wine. Soutard is universally recognised as one of the best growths in the Saint-Emilion area, known for its classy, rich wines made from Cabernet Franc and Merlot vines, cultivated on limestone soils. This voluptuous, seductive Soutard has silky tannins and a lingering, delicious finish. Deep red in colour, the wine is incredibly rich on the nose and on the palate. The best!
