Description · Château Monbousquet

2001 Château Monbousquet (Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: 2001 Château Monbousquet is an almost opaque, deep, intense color. A lot of fat.
  • Nose: A perfect example of "Monbousquet style." Ultra-ripe, superlative. Nothing happens, even after several years, the typical nose of black fruit and smoke no "slow" it.
  • Mouth: An undeniable volume toast note begins to melt, dense tannins and a devilish precision. Fruit size was comparable to that of the nose. In short, the antithesis of silent wine.

PAIRING: red meat with character

GRAPES: 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

CELLAR: Château Monbousquet
