TASTING NOTES OF 2006 Vega Sicilia Único:
- View: Deep ruby.
- Nose: fresh notes on the nose, framed in the classic bouquet of this wine.
- Mouth: a fine attack, firm mouth pass without fanfare and mineral finish, sapid elegant hues all the way.
APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.
GRAPES: Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon
AGEING: finishing the fermentation process, 14 months in wooden vats, 18 months in new oak barrels, 8 months in semi-new casks and 24 months in wooden vats large capacity. Rest in bottle to marketing.
PAIRING: big and small game; wild boar, deer, roe deer, red meats, roasts, stews or roast lamb.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
