TASTING NOTES OF Matarromera Prestigio 2013:

  • View: dark garnet, edging tile.
  • Nose: clear vanilla notes a reduction fund, notes of black fruits, animal series and light hints of cocoa and roasted coffee.
  • Mouth: dry, medium-bodied, lively, refreshing sensations in the middle of mouth and a lingering aftertaste, notes olfactory phase.

APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.

VINEYARD: Matarromera

GRAPES: Tinto Fino.

AGEING: nine months in American oak barrels and nine months in French oak.

I bought it during a weekend getaway.
