2013 Zagalos Reserva (Aragonêz, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Trincadeira)
TASTING NOTES OF 2013 Zagalos Reserva:
- View: garnet color so intense that it seems to be black.
- Nose: Unquestionably his scent is red fruit, black currant in every corner, wood can also be felt.
- Mouth: The palate is very strong, smoky flavor is perceived, is consistent and long finish.
VINEYARD: Casa Dos Zagalos,
GRAPES: Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon.
AGEING: Maceration long and intense. 1 year aging in barrels of 300 L French and Portuguese oak.
PREPARATION: Manual harvest. Fermentation in small stainless steel tanks with temperature control 25°C - 27°C.
PAIRING: Preferably red meat dishes, grilled meats also may accompany with game
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%
