2014 Sandeman LBV
- View: Deep ruby red.
- Nose: intense and complex aroma, resin and balsamic notes of black fruit, spicy tones of black pepper.
- Mouth: full and vibrant with robust tannins and a balanced finish.
VINEYARD: Vineyards located in the famous Douro area, known worldwide for producing excellent fortified wines.
GRAPES: 55% Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz 25%, 20% Touriga Nacional.
AGEING: before marketing, early aging in wood for about 4 years, bottled without filtration.
PREPARATION: result of a blend of wines from the same vintage carefully selected to give life to a port with a strong fruity character, and complete. After gently pressed grapes, wine is fermented in steel at a controlled temperature, with intense maceration extraction.
PAIRING: Middle-aged cheeses with chocolate based desserts or fresh fruit.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 20.5%
