Château L'Evangile 1982

TASTING NOTES:
Decadent, extravagantly rich nose of caramelized fruit, plum, licorice, smoked meats, and toffee; opulent, full-bodied Pomerol which caresses the palate with layers and layers of glycerin and fruit. The tannin is barely noticeable in this massive, rich, gorgeous effort

Château Evangile 1982

The ideal wine to finish a meal. I enjoyed with a good friend.
Ripe cherry colour, medium opacity. I really appreciated the berry smell. It has a good acidity.

Cherry color. Smell of ripe fruit compote. A little quite light.
I recommend it to use. With prosciutto
Slightly weaker than previous vintages, and remains a good wine.

I bought a box of this 2017 on the internet.
It's red with a violet edge. Coffee aromas. The taste was like fresh grapes.

Opaque red. Deep aromas of violets and menthol.Good flavour and long aftertaste.
The 2016 was more entertaining than the stew we had paired it with.
I can't imagine drinking this Château...

We had it while we waited for the meal, with appetizers. Perfect wine to share with friends.
It has a dark red colour. Toffee notes can be appreciated. In the palate is warm and dense.

Chateau L'Evangile 2015
Its full body outshined the menu. A bottle of this red is perfect in intimate togetherness.
Strong ruby red tones. Reminded me of wild berries. Salty touch, like the sea, cool.
