Description · Château Malartic Lagravière

2012 Château Malartic-Lagravière (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot)

TASTING:

  • View: intense and deep red with purple hues.
  • Nose: powerful, complex, rich, very elegant, refined, very deep. Different red fruit mix (blackcurrant, raspberry). The nose is concentrated and pure, with a typical smoky minerality of thought.
  • Palate: Sweet attack, oily, loose. The tannic frame is fine, elegant, racy. We find the flavor profile of the nose with intense fruit, good minerality and nice smoky notes. Great length, and a tannic flexibility that makes the Château MalarticLagravière 2012 already very approachable while developing a complex that promises him a nice

keep.

Malartic la Graviere 2012

They have it on sale at Uvinum.
I did not like the colour with these brown edges. However the taste was quite good. It disclosed a very nice smell of white roses. Very light, pleasant.

Brought by a friend and I opened it with him.
Typical opacity of a Château Malartic Lagravière. Aromas of toffee. A slight flavour of raspberries this red.
A red that pairs well with moussaka.

Should absolutely be paired with fish. It was part of a Corporate gift.
Dark red tone and furthermore rather opaque. It had a wonderful aroma of cherry and red fruit. A very well balanced red.

Acquired directly at the vineyard.
Red towards reddish brown. The 2014 smells like violets. Despite all this Château Malartic-Lagravière seemed fairly fresh.
