2012 Diamandes de Uco Viognier (Viognier)
- View: straw yellow.
- Nose: Aromatic high impact, very white fruit and a crisp mineral edge. Hints of vanilla.
- Mouth: Silky structure that initiates an explosion of fruit flavors of white flowers, the flint minerality, notes of apricot and even fresh almonds. elegant, complex and very seductive, with a strong identity set.
APPELLATION: Uco Valley. Province of Mendoza, Argentina.
AGEING: 100% French oak barrels, 60% new, for 10 months
METHOD: espalier, fruit thinning manual defoliation. Cooling in cold chamber, dual manual selection. Uncrushed.
PAIRING: dishes based on fish or pasta dishes.
