From the Marlborough wine region, north of the South Island of New Zealand.

Cloudy Bay 2008 is a fragrant and summery white that surprises with its aromatic spectrum from tropical fruits with basil through the freshly cut grass. The palate is long and succulent, ripe tropical fruit combined with hints of olive and red pepper. Ends with a crisp acidity and a touch of lime zest that lingers long in the memory

By the way, Cloudy Bay is named after the particularly cloudy bay, located at the eastern end of the Wairau Valley, named by Captain Cook. . . .
