2011 Château Rauzan-Gassies Magnum (Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)
TASTING NOTES Château Rauzan-Gassies 2011:
- View: Deep red purple. dark color.
- Nose: Delicate, very powerful and complex. smoked oak, toast, cherry, pink, peach, clove and cinnamon.
- Mouth: smooth, powerful and enveloping flavor. ripe tannins. well balanced body.
Persistence: 10/11 seconds.
sidebars: black fruit, black currant.
A great wine that can already be seen, but it's wiser to wait 4 or 5 years if possible!
Merlot 30% - 68% Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot 2%
2011: The Cabernet Franc is not in the mix, because it was not rich enough, and lacked structure. It was too dry maturing, so I stayed out of the final wine. Usually usually present at 5 or 6%.

Equally fruity, the palate is fresh and balanced, supported by well-integrated oak and fine tannins and tight Elegant and right Margaux without asperities, built for aging well
