TASTING NOTES OF 1988 Château Durfort-Vivens:
- View: ruby, light orange.
- Nose: complex, elegant nose of currant, cherry, plum, notes of milk, humus, mushroom, smoke snuff in a discreet background.
- Mouth: big, tense, very precise and well integrated into this long structure, flavors of ripe black fruit, humus, mushroom on a smoky background round tannins. Final with good dynamic balance and ripe black fruit, mushrooms, a little smoked snuff blond.
GRAPES: 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot.
