2018 Quinta da Boa Esperança Colheita Rosé

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Color intense pink salmon.
  • Nose: fruity aromatic notes of soft bone, apricot, golden apple, peach, golden plums.
  • Mouth: fresh, elegant and juicy on the palate. A balanced acidity and the presence of soft tannins.

APPELLATION: Lisbon.

VINEYARD: Quinta da Boa Esperança.

GRAPES: Castelón, Touriga Nacional, Syrah.

AGEING: This wine is consumed young.

PREPARATION: The mixture of grapes is macerated at cold temperatures in the reservoir before pressing with the method of bleeding. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures, in order to maintain flavors and aromas. Finally it is stabilized, filtered and bottled.

WINE PAIRING: Fish, seafood, lobster, crab, paellas, risottos, pastas, carpaccio, fresh salads, appetizers, stir fry vegetables, fruit desserts and cold cream.

Sweet aromas of fresh fruits. It reveals a kind of salty aftertaste.
A very good rosé but with too much wood flavour.
