This whiskey liqueur whose origins date back to the eighteenth century, is characterized by heather aromas. Drambuie The name is derived from the Gaelic An Dram buiadch, which literally means the drink that satisfies. Legend says it was the personal liqueur of Prince Charles Edward (Bonnie Prince Charlie). In 1746, following the defeat of his army at the Battle of Culloden, he would have told the Captain John Mackinnon, a native of Skye, the recipe for his favorite drink. Elaborated based blended scotch and heather honey, Drambuie is a rich liquor, creamy and fruity.
