It definitely is the strawberries that make the Gin Puerto de Indias Strawberry so special. Indeed, they are not just any strawberries: Puerto de Indias uses strawberries from the region of Huelva in Andalusia, which are supposed to be the best of its kind in Europe. Those fruits are especially popular in France and Germany. Did you know, though, that this berry can be traced back to California? The Sevillan Antonio Media brought them to Andalusia in the 1960s to plant them in his country. This region now produces approximately 250 tonnes a year.
You can use the Gin Puerto de Indias Strawberry to make incredible summer cocktails. Put some strawberries and raspberries in a glass, add ice cubes and put in 5 c of gin and 20 cl of tonic. Don't hesitate to add a little cinnamon stick to gain a little piquancy. It is that easy to impress your friends with a fabulous cocktail! Cheers!
