“It had a very deep colour. Clearly noticeable aromas of white fruits. The Santa Digna Reserva Chardonnay Blanco is a well-bodied wine .
Very good with marinated sardines.
This time I shared it with two couples .”
“Since 1979, the very best wines of the winery Torres are pressed south of Curico. The vineyards cover 230 hectares and are proud primarily with Chardonnay, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc planted. The line Santa Digna is made from the best grapes from the slopes. The present Torres Santa Digna Chardonnay is fresh, fruity, wild and impetuous. Through a tender melt the youthful Fast is somewhat mitigated and the white wine gets on the back of the palate an aura of elegance. Both the bouquet and flavor are determined by aromas reminiscent of sweet fruits like pineapple, apricots and pears. These splash on green apples and citrus fruits. The acid is beautifully integrated into a very strong body of Chardonnays.”
“This is a white that combines with Mediterranean seafood. That white is perfect for special occasions.
Deep colour, characteristic of Santa Digna Chardonnay. Clearly noticeable aromas of white fruits. I liked the acidity of 2010.”
