Description · Il Poggione
2010 Il Poggione Brunello Di Montalcino (Sangiovese)
This wine has already made its way to Wine Spectator's top 100, occupying the 4th place. This wonderful Italian spectacle shows real complexity as much in aromas as on the palate. Il Poggione Brunello Di Montalcino 2010 was elaborated by Il Poggione, one of Italy's most prestigious wineries. Based to 100% on Sangiovese, which is the most common grape variety in the boot-formed country, transmitting the land's natural romanticism. Il Poggione Brunello Di Montalcino 2010 has a great ageing potential, but its delicious aromas of ripe red fruit with hints of mushrooms and violets make you want to try it already. Just beautiful!
