Traditionally, Danish typical pilsner are characterized by a low alcohol content, a bland blond color and a lack of clear lack of character! This interpretation of Mikkeller takes the opposite of this style by offering us a strong beer, hoppy generously to Amarillo and Cascade but using all the same lager yeast! Visually, this Danish beer has a golden color with orange highlights, with a thin but persistent foam form panel. The nose is complex, consisting of aromas on the slightly roasted malt, hops as citrus and pine and grapefruit. On the palate, the attack gave way slightly malty caramel flavors that so beautiful notes hopped on the flowers and grapefruit. The finish is slightly bitter and fruity. Once again, Mikkeller surprised us with this Draft Bear taking against the foot of the traditional brewery. A beautiful beer while shifting, much like Sallys Field.
