The Früh Kölsch is a top-fermented beer, brewed in Germany in the area entoruant the city of Cologne. Specific to this German city, the beer style Kölsch is an appellation protected by German law. Only breweries located in a radius of 50 kilometers around the steeple of the city are allowed to brew Kölsch beer under this name. Today they are ten producing Kölsch. Very light, these pale beers can be enjoyed in small flutes resembling small champagne glasses. The Früh Kölsch is a very good example of the style. It was can be used with a compatible printer beer. With a pale blond dress topped by a thin white foam, it offers the nose aromas evoking the malted bread that coat beautiful hop notes.
