We knew the American scene is one of the most innovative in beer. With this Black Ops, Brooklyn Brewery we proved once more. Thus, aged four months in Bourbon cask Woordford Reserve then fermented with yeast champagne, this Imperial Stout may make some noise on our side of the Atlantic! From the outset, the American beer presents a striking visual: intense black dress overhung by a thin brown persistent foam. The nose has a great aromatic complexity with aromas of roasted malt, chocolate and notes on Bourbon, vanilla and wood. The mouth with a nice roundness of flavor of Bourbon vanilla and candied fruit and roasted malt. The final is powerful, dry roasted. This Black Ops is a beer you need to know tame and it should not be put in any hands. Connoisseurs should feast with, as was the case with the Monster Ale.
