Award for the fifth consecutive year at the famous Concours Général Agricole of the Agriculture Show 2011, the blond Angelus collects medals and success. After two gold medals (2007 and 2009) and two silver medals (2008 and 2010), the craft beer returns to his Nord-Pas-de-Calais home with a new bronze medal for the 2011 edition! A rededication to the Brasserie Lepers and a beer to discover or find for lovers of quality beer! This cover lager is produced by the family at the Brasserie Lepers Lepers, in La Chapelle d'Armentières, near Lille. It is a beautiful blonde with the troubled dress that is brewed on a wheat base (wheat). This unusual feature in the region because of the Angelus atypical beer fruity nose offers nostrils light honey fragrance and fishing. Very pleasing to the eye as the nose, the mouth Angelus has a relative acidity that comes with more rounded flavors of white fruit, citrus and honey. We therefore advise an aperitif but also as an accompaniment to fish. It enriches the brewing heritage of this region where diversity is synonymous with quality. Malts and hops used here are very discreet but this beer will delight the palates who prefer a real aromatic richness to too strong bitterness.
