Petit Verdot wines

Petit Verdot is a small black grape, from the region of Bordeaux, mainly used in blends with other wines, reinforcing them with its tannins, aroma, colour, flavour and acid content.

Sparsely cultivated in France, today it is grown in Argentina, Australia, Chile, Spain, the United States (California, Colorado, Texas, Virginia and Washington) and New Zealand. In regions where the climate is warm, it is also known as a varietal wine with scents of banana and pencil shavings, but also with notes of plums and spices, with a great body, and intensely purple in colour.

It is a wine worthy of accompanying dishes with strong flavours.
