Cabernet Sauvignon wines

Cabernet Sauvignon is a strain originating in Bordeaux (France), and born in the seventeenth century as a blend of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Until the 90's was the most cultivated variety in the world.

The skin of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape is quite dark. It grows in any climate, but prefers warm to hot in Bordeaux and much of Spain and California.

Cabernet Sauvignon wines have aromas of berries, mint, eucalyptus, flowers like violets, coffee beans, and above all, green pepper.
In the mouth, tannic wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, warm and balanced.Add character to wines in which it is mixed with other grapes.

Cabernet Sauvignon wines very well accepted aging in barrels and earn a lot of complexity. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon is perfect with Cabernet-Franc and Merlot.

The most interesting pairings Cabernet Sauvignon are the stews of lamb, beef and game, and generally any red meat, roast or grilled meats.
